MENDORONG AFIRMASI KETERWAKILAN PEREMPUAN DI LEMBAGA PENYELENGGARA PEMILU: PENGALAMAN ADVOKASI SHE LEADS INDONESIA 2021
Abstract
Meskipun isu keterwakilan politik perempuan telah menjadi perhatian para sarjana sejak lama, namun belum banyak kajian akademik mengenai keterwakilan perempuan di lembaga penyelenggara pemilu. Dengan mengambil studi kasus program She Leads Indonesia 2021, studi ini hendak memeriksa bagaimana dampak advokasi dalam mendorong implementasi kebijakan afirmatif pada proses seleksi penyelenggara pemilu nasional di Indonesia, serta menganalisis tantangan implementasi kebijakan afirmasi dalam proses seleksi tersebut. Penelitian ini merupakan riset aksi di mana para peneliti terlibat langsung dalam merancang dan melaksanakan program advokasi She Leads. Data dalam studi ini dikumpulkan melalui studi pustaka, diskusi kelompok, wawancara, observasi lapangan, dan pendampingan kandidat. Temuan studi ini menunjukkan bahwa meskipun program advokasi She Leads berhasil meningkatkan partisipasi dan keterwakilan perempuan dalam tiap tahapan seleksi, namun tantangan struktural dalam proses seleksi masih menjadi hambatan utama dalam mengimplementasikan kebijakan afirmasi keterwakilan perempuan di lembaga penyelenggara pemilu di Indonesia.
