Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
  • The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  • The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, or RTF document file format.
  • Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
  • The text is single-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
  • The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines.

Author Guidelines

  1. Naskah yang ditulis mencakup hasil penelitian, (studi pustaka atau lapangan) tentang Pemilu
  2. Naskah ditulis dalam Bahasa Indonesia atau Bahasa Inggris secara sistematis terdiri dari judul, nama penulis, abstrak beserta kata kunci, kata pengantar, diskusi atau analisis, kesimpulan dan referensi.
  3. Naskah diketik dengan Microsoft Word, ukuran kertas A4, sekitar 6.000-8.000 kata, font Boldman Old Styles, 12 pts, dan 1,5 spasi.
  4. Tulisan diunggah melalui mekanisme Submission Online di website journal.kpu.go.id
  5. Judul naskah tidak lebih dari 14 kata dalam Bahasa Indonesia dan 12 kata dalam Bahasa Inggris. Judul ditulis Italic, posisi di tengah (Centered), huruf kapital, ukuran 14 pts.
  6. Nama penulis tidak mencantumkan gelar akademik, diikuti oleh nama lembaga penulis, lokasi di tulis di bawah judul. Jika naskah ditulis lebih dari satu penulis, editor hanya menghubungi penulis utama, atau nama penulis pertama yang dicantumkan dalam naskah. Penulis utama wajib mencantumkan alamat kantor atau alamat email.
  7. Abstrak ditulis dalam dua Bahasa (Indonesia dan Inggris), panjang abstaksi sekitar 150 – 200 kata, batas pencantuman kata kunci 3-5 kata. Abstrak minimal memuat tujuan, metode dan hasil penelitian.
  8. Tabel dan gambar harus memiliki judul, nomor dan sumber, ditulis spasi 1. Tabel dan gambar dimuat dalam format hitam putih.
  9. Daftar referensi hanya berisi sumber rujukan, dan semua sumber rujukan harus disebutkan dalam daftar. Sumber referensi terdiri dari, setidaknya, 80% literatur cetak yang diterbitkan dalam 10 tahun terakhir. Referensi adalah sumber dalam bentuk artikel penelitian dalam jurnal atau dalam laporan penelitian (termasuk tesis sarjana, tesis pascasarjana, disertasi, buku, dan publikasi terkait lainnya).
  10. Teknik referensi dan mengutip mengikuti teknik referensi Mendeley.
  11. Periksa setiap artikel yang dirujuk untuk keakuratan dan pastikan setiap karya yang dikutip dalam artikel tersebut ditulis dalam Daftar Pustaka dan Referensi. Karya-karya yang tidak dikutip tetapi disebutkan dalam Daftar Pustaka atau Referensi akan dihilangkan oleh editor.
  12. Semua data atau kutipan yang disajikan dalam artikel yang diambil dari artikel penulis lain harus melampirkan sumber referensi. Format penulisan yang digunakan dalam Jurnal Politik mengikuti format yang diterapkan oleh American Political Science Review.
  13. Daftar referensi disusun sebagai berikut dan disusun menurut abjad dan kronologis.
  14. Semua naskah dipelajari secara anonim oleh pengulas yang ditunjuk oleh editor sesuai dengan keahlian mereka. Penulis diberikan kesempatan untuk merevisi manuskrip berdasarkan ulasan atau rekomendasi / saran editor. Keputusan publikasi atau penolakan akan diinformasikan melalui alamat email penulis.
  15. Editor memiliki hak untuk memodifikasi dan memperbaiki ejaan, penulisan, dan tata bahasa dari naskah yang diterbitkan.
  16. Segala sesuatu yang berkaitan dengan mengutip izin atau penggunaan perangkat lunak komputer dalam menulis naskah atau hal-hal lain yang berkaitan dengan hak cipta yang dilakukan oleh penulis, beserta semua konsekuensi hukumnya, menjadi tanggung jawab penuh penulis.
  17. Penulis yang naskahnya diterbitkan akan mendapatkan 2 (dua) salinan bukti penerbitan. Naskah yang tidak diterbitkan tidak akan dikembalikan, kecuali atas permintaan penulis.

1. Author's Rights and Authorities

As an author, you (or your employer or institution) may do the following:

2. Requests from Third Parties

Although authors are permitted to re-use all or portions of the article in other works, this does not include granting third-party requests for reprinting, republishing, or other types of re-use. Requests for all uses not included above, including the authorization of third parties to reproduce or otherwise use all or part of the article (including figures and tables), should be referred to KPU by going to our website at https://journal.kpu.go.id/.

 

3. KPU Copyright Ownership

KPU owns the copyrights to reproduce, distribute, disseminate, translate, and other uses in accordance with the existing Laws and Regulations.

Every accepted manuscript should be accompanied by "Copyright Transfer Agreement" prior to the article publication.
