KEADILAN PEMILU BAGI CALON PERSEORANGAN KASUS PILKADA SUKOHARJO 2024

Kegagalan calon perseorangan di Kabupaten Sukoharjo pada Pilkada tahun 2024 membuat kontestasi pilkada tidak ada karena hanya ada calon tunggal dari partai politik. Hal ini disebabkan sampai batas waktu akhir pendaftaran, dukungan untuk calon perseorangan tidak memenuhi batas minimal syarat dukungan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode observasi, pustaka dan wawancara untuk mencari tahu kegagalan apa yang mempersulit calon perseorangan ini. Hasil penelitian menunjukan, titik kegagalan ada pada sistem verifikasi faktual yang menggunakan metode sensus bukan sampling, sehingga jumlah dukungan yang diverifikasi sangat banyak. Apalagi saat itu calon perseorangan juga belum dikenal banyak orang seperti calon dari partai politik karena minimnya sosialisasi. Verifikasi syarat dukungan juga harus selesai dalam waktu yang terbatas sehingga tim sukses kesulitan menambah dukungan. Hasil analisis menunjukan bahwa, tidak ada kesetaraan politik antara calon perseorangan dengan calon dari partai politik dalam representasi formalistik, dimana ada hambatan struktural dari regulasi yang lebih berat dibandingkan calon dari partai politik. Dalam pelaksanaan pencalonan pun tidak ada kesetaraan politik dalam proses demokrasi liberal dimana proses pencalonan perseorangan lebih berat ketika melalui verifikasi faktual syarat dukungan minimal. Kesimpulan yang diperoleh, harus ada proses pencalonan yang adil dan proporsional antara calon perseorangan dan calon dari partai politik serta menghapus hambatan struktural dari regulasi yang diskriminatif.
