Call for Abstracts Jurnal Electoral Governance: Jurnal Tata Kelola Pemilu Indonesia Vol.8 Issue 1

Electoral integrity is widely recognized as a fundamental prerequisite for democratic elections that are free, fair, transparent, and accountable. As electoral processes become increasingly complex, new challenges continue to emerge, particularly in relation to election finance, campaign finance regulation, the misuse of state resources, vote buying, and the effectiveness of electoral oversight and law enforcement.

Among these issues, campaign finance management has become one of the most critical elements in safeguarding electoral integrity. A robust regulatory framework, supported by effective monitoring and enforcement, is essential to promoting transparency and accountability in campaign financing. It also plays a vital role in preventing vote buying, minimizing conflicts of interest, curbing the misuse of public resources, and limiting undue influence on electoral outcomes.

Recognizing the importance of these issues, the Editorial Board of Electoral Governance: Jurnal Tata Kelola Pemilu Indonesia invites scholars, researchers, practitioners, and policymakers to submit abstracts for publication consideration in Volume 8, Issue 1 (November 2026) under the following theme:

Theme : Election Finance and the Challenges of Electoral Integrity
Subtheme: Campaign Finance Management

Abstract Submission Guidelines:

  1. Submissions must present original work that has not been published or submitted for publication elsewhere;
  2. Abstracts must be submitted in both English and Indonesian, consisting of 150–200 words, accompanied by three to five keyword;
  3. Each abstract should clearly describe the research objectives, methodology, and main findings;
  4. Submissions may be prepared by an individual author or a team of no more than four (4) authors;
  5. Multi-author submissions must include a brief statement outlining the contribution of each author. 

Submission Process

  1. Authors are required to create an account through the journal's online submission system before submitting their abstracts;
  2. Abstracts must be submitted electronically via the registered account;
  3. All submissions will undergo an editorial review and selection process in accordance with the journal's editorial policies;
  4. Authors should provide an active WhatsApp number and email address for correspondence;
  5. There is no submission fee for abstract submission.

Important Dates

  1. Abstract Submission Deadline: July 12, 2026
  2. Abstract Review Period: July 13–15, 2026
  3. Notification of Abstract Acceptance: July 16, 2026
  4. Full Paper Submission Deadline (for Accepted Abstracts): August 8, 2026
